Oedipus and the Prophets 12

Oedipus and the Prophets

Plovdiv Drama Theatre , Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Director: Diana Dobreva

Bulgarian with Hungarian and English subtitles

1 hours 30 minutes, without breaks.

"Oedipus and the Prophets" is a play about examining the heart. For the enlightenment that comes when you accept mistakes, pay for delusions, overcome grief and understand how and why to be alive. For pushing aside illusions, for peering into the clear spring where you see your humble face. "Oedipus and the Prophets" is a play about the courage to go beyond the world, full of soothsayers of nothing, with harbingers of catastrophe, with clackers of chaos. "Oedipus and the Prophets" is a song about the admirable courage of being human.
