"Kanoet" (Birds) is a performance about the wondrous world of birds. In the performance, Mient prepares a presentation by his father about Wadden birds. He has already set up all the stuffed birds and other items from the Wadden, but his father never shows up. Mient is on his own. With the help of the audience, he tries to retell his father's story as best he can. Visitors learn about the remarkable behaviour of wading birds, the connection between the Wadden Sea region and the rest of the world, and the interconnectedness between different ecosystems. And about the power of finding your way on your own wings.
